Gymnasium and high school for boys
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for boys was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

I tend to agree with the deductions you made here based on the evidence. Stefan was deported from the ghetto on September 10, 1942. Since we know that there were mass deportations to Chelmno between September 5-12, 1942, it is a reasonable assumption that Stefan was among those killed at Chelmno. However, the secondary sources also indicate that the majority of those deported in the so-called Gehsperre action were children under age 10, the sick, and the elderly. Since Stefan would have been 17 years old, you may want to seek out evidence that he was in ill health to provide more converging evidence that he was a victim of the Gehsperre action. Also, in the future, it is not necessary to list change of address and deportations for the same date. The deportation date alone is good enough. Good work.
