User Comment:

A search for P* Gruszka turned up 3 results, of which Pesa was the closest name match in addition to having been born in a year that would have made her the right age to attend school #8A.

Approver Comment:
Nice work. I agree that this is the most likely candidate to have signed this name in the album. As you suggest, in 1941 she would have been 9 years old, the right age for school #8a.

User Comment:

I connected Pesa to her family via matching addresses. She lived with her brother/cousin Dawid (b. 1920) and her mother/aunt Rojza.

Pesa was deported on September 10, 1942, on which date there was a deportation to Chelmno. Dawid died of currently unknown causes on February 5, 1942. Rojza, according to hospital records, died on January 11/12 (11 according to her profile, 12 according to the death record) of starvation and avitaminosis.

I agree with your conclusions. Pesa would have been deported as part of the Gehsperre Aktion, the deportations from which went to Chelmno. Thank you for helping to complete her record.
