From the database the notes for Frajda Najman had listed AUSG TR 28/2. It was understood that she was transported but we had to assume that 28/2 was the date of the transport. We looked at our secondary sources and found two options for this date. In 1944 there was a transport to Auschwitz on February 28th. We looked into the transport and prisoner lists in Aushchwitz, but nothing was found for Frajda. We then found that in 1942 there was a transport to Chelmno also on February 28th. Therefore, because there was no information for Fradja under Auschwitz we assumed she was transported to Chelmno and was killed.

As far as the deportation goes: Assumptions about the records are dangerous. We need to be able to take the records and what they tell us at face value, without assuming that someone was deported and killed without evidence to back it up. In this case, 28/2 is a deportation number, not a date. A further record in a later stage might provide more information about what this number means.
