User Comment:

I did a search for E* Spiewak, and then narrowed it down to anyone born in 1930 +/- 5 years. There were two results, and only Ella was in the appropriate birthdate range for her to have signed the album.

Approver Comment:
I agree. The only other possible candidate, Estera Spiewak, would have been too old to be attending school #17b in 1941. Nice job! Don't forget to note the date of deportation in the next stage.

User Comment:

There is a Chuna Spiewak listed at the same address as her, although his former name was Chuna Korman--perhaps a father or an uncle? No deportation information is listed for him.

A deportation date of April 19, 1942 is listed for Ella, although there is no corresponding deportation for that date under Secondary Sources, so it is unclear as of now where she went.

Expert Reviewer Comment:
Thank you for listing Chuna Korman. Good luck in the next stages!

I agree. Thank you for adding Chuna Korman as an additional name for her father. I hope we are able to find more information that might help us learn the destination of the deportation and what happened to Ella thereafter. Good luck in the next stages!
