School #6
School #6 taught boys and girls who were deaf or hard-of-hearing. Since it was the only school for children who were deaf in the Lodz Ghetto, its students ranged in age from 6 to 20 years old, and were born between 1921 and 1935.
School #6 was located at Ulica Limanoskiego 45. The street name was changed to Alexanderhofstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Ulica Limanoskiego and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
Abram Rubinsztanjn attended school #6 which was a school where its students ranged from ages 6 to 20. This indicates that Abram Rubinsztajn must have been born between 1921 to 1935. Abram Szawsio Rubinsztajn fits the age range and lived in Alexhof (Alexhof was an abbreviation for Alexanderhofstrasse) which is where school #6 was located at.
Approver Comment:
There are a number of boys with similar names born in the right age range to attend school #6. How did you determine this was the right one? We do not yet know if there was any correlation between students' addresses and school addresses, particularly not for school #6, which was a school for students who were deaf.
