Gender: girl
School:
School #6
School #6 taught boys and girls who were deaf or hard-of-hearing. Since it was the only school for children who were deaf in the Lodz Ghetto, its students ranged in age from 6 to 20 years old, and were born between 1921 and 1935.
School #6 was located at Ulica Limanoskiego 45. The street name was changed to Alexanderhofstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Ulica Limanoskiego and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
I found Rywa Goldman born 03/02/1926 and she lived at Rembrandt 10 flat 6 and she changed her address on 20.10.41 to Rembrandt. I also found Rywa with the birthdate of 03/02/1928 and she lived at Rembrandt 12 27 and was deported on March 5, 1942 on TR 23. I'm guessing she lived firstly at Rembrandt 10 flat 6 and then moved to Rembrandt 12 27 on October 20, 1941.

I agree that these are the same person, and that she is a likely candidate to have signed the album in school #6. Your conclusions about the order in which she moved between addresses also appear to be correct.
I'm also intrigued by some of the Rywka Goldmans who show up in the database, but this does appear to be the most likely candidate to have signed the album. Which date of birth is right?

I found Nachman Majlech born 20/10/1885, Mandla born 1897, and Alte Fajge born 20/09/1923 (She also appears as Ittla Fajga.) I'm guessing Nachman and Mindla are Rywa's father and mother and Alte/Ittla was her older sister. Rywa, Mindla, and Atle/Ittla were all deported on March 5, 1942 and sent to Chelmno on TR 23. I couldn't find anymore information on Nachman and what his fate was.
