School #6
School #6 taught boys and girls who were deaf or hard-of-hearing. Since it was the only school for children who were deaf in the Lodz Ghetto, its students ranged in age from 6 to 20 years old, and were born between 1921 and 1935.
School #6 was located at Ulica Limanoskiego 45. The street name was changed to Alexanderhofstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Ulica Limanoskiego and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

I agree that this is the most likely student to have signed the album. How did you decide that this was the right person?

According to the secondary resources Tamara was sent to Chelmno where she perished in the gas vans. I couldn't find any of her family or any other information.

Based on the date of deportation, I agree that Tamara most likely was deported to Chelmno. Thank you for helping to complete her history. If you like, you can add a biography to her profile.
User Comment:
Based on the secondary sources, we can conclude that Tamara was deported as part of the Gehsperre Aktion to Chelmno where she was murdered in the gas vans.
