School #23
School #23 was a school for girls and boys in Lodz. Students were between 8 and 20 years old (most were 9-14), meaning that they were born between 1921 and 1933.
School #23 was located at Ulica Jagiellonska 16. The street name was changed to Bertholdstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. You can read more about Ulica Jagiellonska and the rest of the Lodz Ghetto at

Approver Comment:
I agree that Ita is the most likely candidate to have signed the album for school #23! In September 1941 she would have been almost 13 years old, the right age to be attending that school at the time. In the future, please leave a comment detailing your process for me and your fellow researchers.
Also note her addresses: Bleigasse 155 #10 and Schneidergasse 18 #5. (The second entry for her lists a change of address on February 5, 1942, to Bleigasse 15, so 155 might have been a typo; there's another date listed in a ghetto note in the first entry--September 11, 1942--without reference to what it might mean.) See you in stage 2!
