User Comment:
I searched the database for the exact spelling of the last name Podrygal and the exact first initial of "P". The match that it returned was Perla Podrygal. She was born on March 15,1932, and that would have made her old enough to be attending School #23 at the time of the album signing. Her notes indicate a deportation date of 09.09.1942. While searching under the fuzzy setting (just to double check), there was also a Zalma Pinkus Podrygal listed. The date of birth (15.04.1922) is also close to the age range, so I went ahead and included the information, seeing as to how there is no sex listed to eliminate either candidate right away.
Approver Comment:
I agree that these are two possible candidates to have signed this name in the album. There is a chance that the album was signed using a middle name. Good job! I hope we can find more information pointing us to which student might have signed this name; we know very little about school #23, and I hope this candidate might help us know more.
