User Comment:

After searching the Children of Lodz database for Frymet, F and hitting the “sounds like” button for both of these we got a result, every time, of a Frymeta Meszenberg born on June 29th, 1930, which fits our age range.

Her addresses were Braune 14 and Pfeffer 19 16.

Expert Reviewer Comment:
Great work I agree that this is the person that signed the albumn.
Approver Comment:
I agree you have found the person who signed the album! In 1941, she would have been 11 years old, the right age to attend school #5. Also note the date listed in the ghetto note: 30.3.42.

Great work! I look forward to seeing your work in the next stages.

We found the labor cards file. We looked for Frymeta Meszenberg, but did not turn up any results.

Due to the date of her transfer we presume that she was killed in Chelmno in 1942. “Between January and May 1942 more than 54,000 Lodz Jews were killed at Chelmno.”

We followed the same process that we did with Chaim Fajgenblat, in looking for relatives. After searching for Meszenberg we filtered through the results and found a Dwora Perla Meszenberg who lived in the same addresses roughly. Her first address was the same, but her second address was Pfeffer 19 14. She was born on May 27th, 1903. We believe she could be a relative.

Is this a reasonable assumption to believe that Dwora is the mother of Frymeta?

Expert Reviewer Comment:
I believe that is is possible for Dwora to be Frymeta's mother. Great work and thanks for the thorough comment and research.
Approver Comment:
I also agree that it is highly likely that Dwora was Frymeta's mother. The Pfeffergasse address might thus have been 19 #14 or 19 #16, but either way the age different makes this relationship highly plausible.

If you have seen secondary source material that leads you to believe March 30, 1942 might have been the date of a deportation to Chelmno, you are welcome to add that as the deportation destination and cite your source on this stage. Thank you for helping to complete Frymeta's record.
