we believe that you were correct the other Abram Huberman is the only Abram that was born within the time period that fits school #13B

Indeed. Do you have any other information on him? If not, feel free to move on to stage 2.

I agree that this Abram is a possibility to have been the student who signed the album; however, there's another Abram Huberman, born in 1926 (an appropriate age for school #13b), who is also a possibility. Can you tell me in the comments which one you think might have signed the album, and why? (It's possible that both are candidates, I just need to know your reasoning.) Thanks!

We looked through the records and we did not find anything about his parents

We think this is our guy because his wartime location was lodz also his occupation was a apprentice and 15 is an age that fits the school #13B Also 15 is a perfect age to be an apprentice.

Thank you for your research. Good luck with the next student you choose!

How sad! Yes, that's him--also born in 1926, and Lodsch is another spelling of Lodz. He died of tuberculosis.

The schools were closed shortly after the album was presented to Chaim Rumkowski, and many students were put to work within the ghetto. It is not surprising that Abram would have been working in 1943.

I think you've come to the end of the story--but there might be some more information out there. Any thoughts on his parents?
