I belive that this is Lajzer Halpern because his age is right in the range of students at school #2 (10 to 15)

I agree! As you suggest, in 1941 he would have been 16 or 17 years old, still a little old for school #2 but certainly closer in age than the Lejzer Halpern born in 1934. Nice work! Also note his addresses: Hohensteinstrasse 28 #28 and Hohensteinstrasse #38.

I agree that these are both possibilities, since they're similar names, but neither is really within the range we're looking for, exactly. I do agree that Lajzer is closer to that age range than Lajzer, but I also think there's one more candidate out there who is in the right range. What do you think?
