School #7 was a school for girls in Lodz. The students in #7a attended classes in the morning. Most students were between 7 and 12 years old, meaning that they were born between 1928 and 1934.
School #7 was located at Ulica Zgierska 70. The street name was changed to Hohensteinerstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. You can read more about Ulica Zgierska at

User Comment:
Although the name is spelled slightly different, I believe this may have been one of the children to sign the album. Only the year of birth was listed, so the spelling of the name might have been another clerical error.
Approver Comment:
I agree that Ester would have been the appropriate age to be attending school #7a--in 1931, she would have been 10 years old. You'll also find her name spelled "Estera" in the database, so keep an eye out for that as well. Also note her address: Talweg 11, with the apartment number either 11 or 34. Why do you think the names are spelled differently? Often the transcription from Hebrew/Yiddish to Polish/German/English characters means vowels and consonants appear or disappear, and sometimes records were copied down by ear, leading to inaccuracies.
