Gymnasium and high school for girls
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for girls was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
Although we are still unsure as to whether or not Rwyka refers to Regina, we have found information that leads us to believe that she was deported to Chelmno with the transport # 26. We can assume by the deportation date and abbreviation "AUSG" that she was deported to Chelmno. Her exact birthdate is unknown, however it is certain that she was born in 1923.

I agree that this is a possibility; however, be very careful any time you use the word "assume" to support a claim about history in this period. Can you give me some information to support your belief that she was deported to Chelmno?
