Gymnasium and high school for girls
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for girls was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
There is no listing for Fela Glezer. I did another search for the surname Glezer and the initial F, and that is where I found reference to Felicja Glezer, who would have been 16 in 1941. I did a Google search and found enough evidence to make me feel confident that Fela is a nickname for Felicja.
If this is Felicja Glezer, here is more information:
Ghetto address: SULZF 25/27 30
Ghetto address: TREBACKA 18
Occupation: Schuelerin
Ghetto note: UMG 21.1.42 DOM 22

Bill - Excellent research! I think you are correct in your deduction here. You can go ahead and add the three ghetto addresses (Sulzfelder 25/27 #30, Trebacka 18, and Sulzfelder 25/27 #22) to the ghetto address fields on this stage.
On stage 2, please add January 21, 1942 as the day on which she moved to Sulzfelderstrasse 25/27 #22. Good luck in the next stages!

User Comment:
I am guessing about the parents, but I searched the database for everyone with the surname Glezer and tried to match addresses with that of Fela. Both Szmuel and Berta have identical addresses and move dates, so I think it's likely they are, if not her mother and father, at the very least related.

Again... Very good research. Both Szmul and Berta were 36 years old when Felicja was born. This makes it entirely possible that they were her parents.
