I noticed on this entry and in the listing for this young man's name in the database that his occupation was listed as "OD Mann." Could this mean that he was a member of the ghetto police after he left school? From my research on the ghettos in Poland, OD was the abbreviation for the Jewish Order Police (Judischer Ordnungdienst) that patrolled inside the ghetto.
