While no direct searches for his full name returned results, there are records of an "Aleks Fogel" who survived the entire affair and before the war lived in the town of Sosnowiec, Poland. According to Google maps (using travel on modern roads), Sosnowiec is 187 km from Lodz, and 325 km from Warsaw. Being that Warsaw and Lodz were the two largest ghettos in Poland, it is possible that "Aleks Fogel" traveled to the Lodz ghetto, and later survived the war.
However, this hypothesis is inconclusive at best as there is currently only a shortened version of the full name in survivor records.
