Student Profile: Rafal Laks

While searching the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database we found two Rafal Laks but only one boy fit in the age range for school #18B. He was born in 1928. The date under the notes section is January 31, 1944 and since there were no deportations to Chelmno we can only assume that that was the date he moved from Reiger 5/7 41 to Reiger 13. Rafal lived with a male named Aron Froim Laks who could have been his brother as he was born in 1926. There was one other boy in the database with a different spelling, Rafael, who was born in 1926 and who lived on Reiger 13 2 and then moved to Zerom 31. Rafael Laks lived with a male named Aron Laks who was born in 1924 and a female named Chaja Laks who was also born in 1924. As the first boy Rafal Laks has the same spelling as the Rafal Laks in the Student List we focused primarily on him.
