I found a girl by the name of Dorota Pieniazek in the JewishGen database. Since the first names seemed to be a little too different to be that same person, I reverse searched "Dorota Pieniazek" from the database in the student list. The only similar name was our Dwora Pieniazek. For this reason, I believe that there might have been some kind of first name mispelling.

The case is not always a name misspelling, but often tells us that a student went by a different name at school than at home, and would sometimes have a Yiddish, Polish, and Hebrew name, all different from one another. The name that was signed in the album is not always the name the student was given at birth, but rather how the student chose to sign his or her name.
When I search our names database, which is built on the same information set as JewishGen's, I find that Dorota is the most likely candidate to have signed this name in the album. In 1941 she would have been 12 years old, the right age to attend school #8b. Nice work. Remember to enter the Poludniowa 16 address as well, and please leave a note in the research notes field letting your fellow researchers know why you think this is the student who signed the album. Good luck in the next stages!
