We entered his last name 'Fajgenblat' and first initial 'R'. We knew that he had to be born between 1926 and 1931. We took notice to a student named Rywen Szymszo Fajgenblat who was born in 1926. We infer that this is the same person, just different spelling of the first name. He was deported on September 10, 1942 to Chelmno.

I agree that you have found the person who most likely signed the album! Rywen and Ruwin are very similar-sounding names, and as you suggest in 1941 he would have been the right age to attend school #14b. Nice work!

As far as the date of deportation is concerned, you'll want to cross-reference the date with the secondary sources, then cite both sources in the next stages. Thanks!

Rywen Szymszo Fajgenblat was transferred to Chelmno on September 10, 1942. That is the last date that we have found on record as far as deportation. This can be found in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants source. To find out what his deportation date meant, we turned to the Secondary Sources research archive. In the Secondary Sources- it states that during the deportation dates between Sept 5th to the 12th 1942, all inhabitants that were deported to Chelmno were killed in gas vans. Thus the date September 10, 1942 that is in the above categories is that last deportation date that we have.

I agree with the conclusion you have drawn from reading the secondary sources with the date of deportation you found in the database. Thank you for helping to complete his record.
