Student Profile: Pardes

Under Pardes I found a boy whose age in 1941 was 13. His occupation is listed as Schueler (student). It is possible that he is one of the students who signed the album.

I also found a boy who was the right age to sign the album with the last name Pardes. His name is Josef Boruch Pardes. He has the same ghetto address as Dawid and may be his relative. His occupation is also listed a student.

It is impossible for us to know which Pardes signed the album as Pardes--and also possible that both Dawid and Josef signed the album as Pardes! Since they are both within the age range for school #2 (1926-1931), I think you are correct in saying that it is possible that both students signed the album for school #2. Just remember to keep their records separate (and straight!) as you continue into the next stages.

I am amazed that out of all the Pardeses in the database (aside from Szmul, who signed his name Szmul Pardes), only two are within the right age range for school #2, and might both have signed their name as Pardes. What a remarkable find! What are your thoughts?
