2 people came up in our search of Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants: Samuel Cukier and Szmul Cukier. Szmul Cukier does not have a birthday in the system: he has an age (11), which would put him the correct age range for School #1 (which Szmuel Cukier is in); however, Szmul Cukier has a different address than Samuel Cukier. Szmul's address is Tal 14 16; Samuel had three different addresses.
The spelling of Szmuel and Samuel is interchangeable in many cases, so we can believe that Samuel Cukier and Szmuel Cukier are the same person. We have enough evidence to believe that Szmul Cukier is not Samuel or Szmuel.

Thank you for your further research on Szmuel Cukier. While you are correct that, in light of the differences in age and address, Samuel Cukier and Szmuel Cukier are not the same person, we are still not sure which one actually signed the book. Though Szmul Cukier is the most likely candidate at age 11, we still cannot rule out Samuel Cukier. Samuel's birthdate is 1926, and while he is older for School #1, he is still in the appropriate age range. Therefore, while it is more likely that Szmul Cukier signed the album, we cannot be sure.
