When I cross-referenced the name Szmuel Cukier in the JewishGen Database Volume 1-4 and 5, I found that there's a Samuel Cukier born in 1926, and the same address is listed on both databases. Furthermore, Szmuel was a common Yiddish name for Samuel, so this has caused me to believe that they are the same person.

Yes, it is quite possible that Samuel is the same person as the Szmuel who signed the album. Though he's a little old, his birth date is not out of the question for School #1. Also, his occupation is listed as "Schueler." Note that he changed address from Trodler 16 Flat 17 to Buschl 43 and then to Krichpl 3 on April 25, 1943.
HOWEVER, you cannot rule out the possibility that Szmul Cukier (11 years old) and living at Tal 14 Flat 26 (also listed in the Lodz Ghetto Database Volume 5) was the student who signed the album. Therefore, I must list this data as "possible" for now.
