Although it is a likely possibility that Abram Ela Cytryn was the student who signed the album as "A. Cytryn," there were several other boys who could have also signed it. The boy most likely to have also been in gymnasium at the time was Abram Icchok Cytryn (who was also born in 1926). In addition, there are two older boys who might have been in gymnasium (but they were more likely to have been working). Those were Abram Cytryn (born 1921) and Aba/Abe Cytryn (born 1922). Based on Dachau camp records, the latter remained in the ghetto until its liquidation in August 1944. From there, he was deported to Auschwitz, from which he was sent to Dachau (where he arrived and was assigned prisoner #97861 on September 1, 1944). Sadly, Abe died in Dachau on May 20, 1945, less than a month after liberation.
