I also thought that it might be important to note that Mindla had three sisters (Cheweta, Hendla, and Rachela). Mindla was the first one deported, alone. Two of her sisters and her mother were deported the next day to Chelmno as well. Her last surviving sister, Cheweta, was deported on September 20th of the same year, most likely to Chelmno. However this was eight days after the closest date that I could find to 9/20 - transports carrying children under age 10, the sick, and elderly were taken to Chelmno from the 5th to the 12. It is unlikely that these would have been the transports that Cheweta was on unless she was sick. However, since she was the last one of her family left at this time, that could have been very possible.
