Unfortunately, given the nature of historical records, sometimes it is very difficult to find information on a particular student--the name may have been transcribed incorrectly from the album, the records pertaining to that student may be unavailable to us as yet, or the search parameters you are using are not wide enough. Here are a few tips:
-Make sure you try the name search as "fuzzy" or "D-M Soundex" rather than "exact"
-Try searching for the last name (fuzzy or D-M Soundex) with the first initial of the name that was signed, rather than the full name (for instance, if a student signed Noam as his first name, try N* in the "First Name" search box)
-Make sure your date parameters are as wide as possible
