I think there is a really good chance that he survived. I just don't have time to comlete the research right now. Hopefully, somone else can pick up where I left off. Since he arrived in Mauthausen in February 1945, I'll be there's evidence he survived available in some of the postwar lists or possibly even testimony from him (maybe in the USC Shoah archives?). Fingers crossed....
Yep. It looks like he survived. As a matter of fact, this is what he looked like in 2002.
