When I read the Diary of Anne Frank, I already knew that they'd be caught and die. However, I did not realize how close they were all to surviving in the concentration. Had Anne and Margot not have been transferred from Auschwitz, they would have survived. Mrs. Van Pel died in May, in a German camp, after all the other camps had been freed. Peter had died merely 3 days before his camp's liberation. Mrs. Frank died a week previous to Auschwitz's release. Only Mr. Van Pel and Dussel died in 1944, and therefore had no chance to survive.

When I read Anne's story, I frankly did not think it must have been that bad. However, recently, I understood that it must have been terrifying. Anne is a true role model. She's amazing. Her story is timeless. I would have given up in her situation before even considering being happy.

We learned about Anne Frank in our English class. She was a brave young girl who lived during the time of the Holocaust. When I learned all she had gone through at the hiding place, when she was captured, and her life at the concentration camps, it was very moving. I felt now I have tons of things to be thankful for, like having enough food, having a house to live in, my family who I am lucky to have, and a good education. Anne had none of these things after she was captured. She was separated from her family, almost starved at the camps, had no school,no roof to live under, nothing. I feel that I would have lost all hope and killed myself in the camps instead of living through it and having hope that one day they would be set free. Anne was very brave to live through the things she did, and she will never be forgotten. Her spirit will live on, through her diary.

I just read the play The Diary of Anne Frank and found it to be really touching. We also watched the movie in class. It made me realize how hard it was for Anne hiding in a attic for 2 whole years and eventually ending up being betrayed. I felt tears coming out of my eyes when I learned about the fate of The Franks, Dussel and The Van Daans. IT must have been a tough time for them. Even though the story is very sad, I am glad that she recorded her experience so that we can understand and see the difficulties that people had to struggle with.

What an incredible true story. The admiration I have for Anne Frank and her family goes well beyond feeling sorry for them and admiring their strength and courage. When reading “Diary of Anne Frank” you have so many emotions racing throughout the readings. Sad, mad, hurt, proud, are just a few that I can describe.

My English class just finished reading this book, and I think that Anne Frank may be the bravest teenager. She survived through so much pain, but she always had love in her heart and hope in her actions. She did everything she could to be positive, and I find that to be the best influence. If she were alive right now, I would want to ask her so many things, but one of them is that how did she do it? How did she survive that long and influence the people like she did? I mean, her life wasn't like our lives right now. She had to rely on so many people to not mess up; and let her get caught. But in the end she still thought that inside every person, even Hitler, there is a good heart. If that were me, I wouldn't think that. After every thing that she went through, after everything that she saw, still; she really believes that.

When I read the dairy of Anne Frank I grew a respect for her. In the begining of this book i had no conection at all to Anne, but towards the end she showed bravery anc courage and would always be happy. In a way i also admire her for being able to stay sane inside of a small attic with 7 other people, who constantly yelled at her. This book made me feel mixed amotions. For example when they all got captured and i heard they were all killed. That really sadened me. This is a life changing book, a book that showed me how true these horror stories are.

Anne Frank was truly a brave girl. The suffering she had to go through was just so intense. Her desire to live and survive must have been huge, considering the unsanitary living conditions she had to go through. She started her life as a free Jewish girl but sadly ended it a prisoner of war who died after her older sister, I can only hope her life was not as bad and full of pain as it sounds. The conditions she went through, with such limited supply of food to go around with the grand total of eight people was just terrible. People didn't always understand her. I can only hope that nobody in the near and distant future will have to go through the sufferings as Anne had to.

I think what happened to Anne Frank was terrible. The Holocaust was terrible. From her diary, anyone can see that the Holocaust is not something that should be repeated. I am glad that Anne's hope of becoming a writer became partially true. Her diary has impacted many people's thoughts and lives.

After reading "The Dairy of Anne Frank" my whole world changed. I now realize how lucky i really am. After understanding what horrible things the Nazis did to the Jewish people, and how it feels to even not see the nature for so long. Something that seems so usual and point less to us. At the last part of the story, when the Nazis found the Franks and Van Dans, was the part where my hart beat just stoped. I could just imagine how they felt, how they looked at each other with sad good bye looks, hoping for a miracle. All I can do after reading this play is to hope Mr. Frank got to live how he wanted after that horrible war.
