I read both the play version and the book. I was really upset that Anne died. I was also so surprised about how the Jews were treated.

I had read and learned about Anne Frank, in my language arts class. After finishing it all up, I felt really bad for all the Jews who went through this horrible time in history. The Nazis were out of line when they did this. Anne was a great person and it is very sad how her story ended. This is one really good story without a happy ending.

Anne Frank was a nice person who struggled for freedom. Its a sad irony that she died 3 weeks before the liberation.

This was one of the best books I've ever read. Although it had a sad ending it was very touching, entertaining and funny. I wish that she lived so that she could finally become a journalist, because she was a great writer. Those concentration camps were horrible, I was so sad that she and many others had to die that way. Anyways...this is a great book and I will always remember it.

I was so touched by Anne's words. She really made me rethink a lot of stuff like racial discrimination, the Holocaust in general, and about the meaning of life. If dear Anne had survived, she would have been an incredible journalist and author... I bet she would have loved to know that people know her story.

I think that Anne Frank was a great person for being brave throughout the time that she was hiding. She was trying to make everyone joyful even though they were suffering.

Anne, your story really touched me and many others. I felt really sad that you had died. The ending made me feel depressed when you died and the ending wasn't really a happy one. You are a really good writer, and would've been even more famous if you have survived the camp. I will never forget your story. Your story is the most read book (nonfiction) other than the bible.

When I first read the book, I thought that the characters were different. As I read on, I saw how they revealed themselves under pressure. Anne seemed to be the one that blossomed the most by thinking deeper of love and God. I wish that Anne did survive, but her thoughts in her diaries have really impacted the world. I hope that her words will convince the future to not make any more mistakes.

The Diary of Anne Frank was a pretty good story, but what not many people seem to realize is that this is not an uncommon story. There must have been many people who went through similar stories. We just haven't read them yet.
