My heart goes out to those who suffered.I am a descendant of the Muller that was there. My great grandfather moved his family (the ones that came) to America in 1912. My uncle would go back and forth to visit family. I find myself more ingulfed in my heritage. I am unsure of how many Mullers lost their lives there. But knowing had they not come here I would not be here.It saddens me to know everything they went through and how good we have it. I am proud of my heritage and will forever praise God for what he has given to me. Blessed are those who believe and don't give up.

I just read an article about the "Ground Zero Mosque," and after the article there was an opportunity to make a comment. Typical internet stuff. After reading the comments, unfortunately, I thought of the Nazi's. I thought about the poem that Martin Miemoller wrote, "First They Came For," which I read at the end of the tour of the National Holocaust Museum. I have to say something to someone about the terrible prejudice that is being openly expressed about the Muslim people. I want there to be someone left if they come for me. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to start speaking up here!

I was 16 in 1986 and my father and I, being of Puerto Rican descent, lived in Germany. My father took me to Dachau and I will never forget what he said to me, I am bringing you here so you can see a piece of history. I will never forget the experience, and since then, have had a great knowledge respect for those who have suffered. It should have never been.

I give full credit to the people who participated in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. They fought back, and said no! They deserve admiration.
I admire them, and would have fought along with them.
There is so much that people must learn. I support the Museum, but I must ask--honor the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising. Honor people who gave their lives for the cause.

I am a student and I think all of the students all over the world should learn and read about the Franks. What happend to Anne is very sad. Her life was short but it was because of her death we know so much about all this. I still am scared because of the Natzis and what they did to such good people...... Sometime I wonder why bad things happen to such good people.............................. I will always remeber what happend and how it happend..... But I just cant belive that some people killed a 15 year old named Anne Frank..... Peace out...

I am only 17 years old and I read a book called "The Holocaust by David Faber" and I instantly took interest in the Holocaust. I have been trying to find more information in it and see the real footage of what actually happened. I am very interested in going to Auswitz and seeing the gassing chambers and seeing how these people were murdered. Its the saddest time in history for me and some things I have heard just makes me teary eyed. I am now intersted in going to this museum. I know this would interest me in many ways. I am interested in reading "the Diary of Ann Frank" It shows what really happened during the Holocaust and thats what i am intersested in.
Thank you for your time.

I am currently in grade. 9 and im doing a course work in history on The Holacaust and Anti-semitism, My specific topic is the treatment of Jews in the early stages of the war (including the ghettos). This website has been extremly useful, but i wanted to know if any one had any more information on this?

My grandmother left germany when she was 4, 3 days after her town was forced to go to the ghettos, she doesnt remeber anything... except that she had a best friend, Alan smitzwiz (?) if you have heard of him, i would like to hear.
