Miriam Rolnicki was born on February 25, 1926. She lived in Neustadt 19 Lodz, Poland, then moved to Hamburger Strasse 20 Flat 5. Her occupation was recorded as a house daughter. She was deported to Auschwitz February 26, 1942. Her transport was TR 5/2.

Is there a reason that you chose Miriam Rolnicki (b. February 25, 1926) and not Mirjam Rolnicka (b. April 18, 1924)? The album could have been signed by either, don't you think? Also, the abbreviation "AUSG" in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants Database is short for the German word for "deportation." It has nothing to do with Auschwitz. If Miriam Rolnicki was the girl who signed the album (and not Mirjam Rolnicka), then this information is correct. Until we know for sure, I am marking this as "possible."

Also, based on secondary sources, we can surmise that it is likely that Miriam was deported to Chelmno since there were regular transports from the ghetto to Chelmno from February 22-28, 1942.
