We found the mother and father  of Szlama by searching the Lodz database.  The family members all share the same address (there are two) and were born in the appropriate years to be the family members.  Their first location was Korn 2 3 and the second location was Legjonow 10.  The father, Symcha, was born on October 1, 1886 and the mother, Estera, was born in 1885.  Szlama was born in 1927.

User Comments:

When searching for records of Szlama, we found a survivor record of "Szlama RADOSZYCKI SEWERYN."  Besides exhibiting the same first name, "Cwern" and "Seweryn" are prounced the same.  There was no record of the first name, Cwern, in the survivor database and there was no record of "Seweryn" in the identity database.  Though we were unable to crosscheck a birthdate, both come from Lodz.  Based on this, we deduced that Szlama Cwern and Szlama Seweryn are the same person, and Szlama is a survivor.  This information came from the list, Poland: Register of Jewish Survivors II (Jewish Agency, 1945).

I have to mark this as possible because there are so many unknowns, but it is likely this is indeed Szlama. I hope we are able to fill in some of the gaps as more resources are made available to us.
