Once he was liberated, Roman found out that his mother died at Auschwitz. His sisters were alive in Sweden. Roman and Leon flew to Sweden to meet up with their sisters. Dasza died a few months later. Roman and Leon immigrated to the United States. Roman attended Emory University. He then moved to New York and changed his last name to Kent becuase it was easier to pronounce. Leon became a neurosurgeon, but then died a few years later. Roman married his wife, Hannah in 1957. He now has two children and three grandchildren.

Stage 4: Deported to Auschwitz in 1944. Transferred from there to Gross Rosen and from there to Flossenburg. Stage 5: You already have... Liberated during death march from Flossenburg in April 1945. In June 1946, he emigrated to the USA.
