Although the Chana Zylberberg we found did not have the occupation of "student," she was the only Chana Zylberberg out of the many that was born within the age range of her school, School #9A.  These students were born between 1929 and 1932.  Chana was born in 1932.

We were asked to research Hana Zylberberg and discovered a student with this name born in 1930.  This date falls between the date of Chana Zylberberg's school, School #9A, which taught students born between 1929 and 1932.  This student has the occupation of "student" unlike our previous research above.  This is more likely to be Chana Zylberberg due to the occupation.

I agree these are both possible candidates to have signed this name. Please track both girls in the next stages. Whose addresses have you listed?
Stage 2: The Ghetto
Deported / Transferred:
1944-01-12
Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants
User Comments:

The Holocaust Victims Database claims that Hana Zylberberg was deported to Chelmno on January 12, 1944.  However, the secondary source claimes that the deportation on that date was to Auschwitz.  Therefore, Hana could have been murdered on this date.

I am inclined to agree with the secondary source materials: AUSG is an abbreviation for a word that simply means "left," a euphemism for deportation that does not imply deportation to Chelmno.
