User Comments:

According to the Yad Vashem Central Database of Shoah Victims' Names Rywka Unglik, born in 1930, was murdered in the Shoa. But there is neither date nor place given.

Also, there is a document from 1945 about a survivor named Rywka Unglueck, wich is quite similar to the last name Unglik. Unfortunately, there is no date of birth given, so we cannot know for certain if she is the same person

I'm intrigued by this possibility. Without a date of birth or reference to Lodz, we can't be certain that this record points to our Rywka, but this is a possible match.

Yad VaShem's records are taken from the same sources as those that we use for our databases, so the information should be the same. Many students have been found listed as "murdered in the Shoah" on their site based upon assumptions about the Lodz Ghetto that have now proven unfounded.
