Good research. Szmul is almost certainly Samuel. The reason I am marking your data as "possible" is that there may be two different boys Szmul/Szlama Sandler/Zandler. They may or may not be the same person. There is too little data to be sure at this point. Below are the different names and associated data. Szmul Ber Sandler (b. 25.1.1926 or 28.1.1926) lived at Franz 76, SULZF 56 flat 2, WEISENHAUS K, and moved to AUFMANA 40 on 2.10.42.

Szmul/Szlama Zandler (b. 8.1.1923 or 15.6.1925) lived at INSEL 32 flat 2 and INSEL 9. Deported on transport #2.

Both of these boys are listed as students (schueler).

Yes. And if this is the same boy that signed the album, it would mean that he survived in the ghetto through the major deportations to Chelmno in 1942.
