This student, who we have searched without a full first name, was born some time between 1921 and 1927. When I searched Hajman and M*, several results came up. The one that stuck out to me most was Malka Hajman. She was the only person born in the correct time frame, March 15, 1925, and had the correct last name to the one recorded, Hajman. Others said Hakman and etc. I made an educated guess and chose Malka as this student.

This is one of two records pointing to this person--there's another showing her with a slightly different address and a birthdate in August 1925, but I think they're close enough that they point to the same person.

What do you mean by "educated guess"? It is difficult to make assumptions or jump to conclusions about anything in this history, and I'm curious about your process of deciding that Fajman was closer than other names you found.
