User Comments:
Upon a Google Search, we found that Laja may be the Polish spelling of Lea, which allowed us to possibly conclude that "Lea" and "Laja" are the same person. It is also fitting because her birthdate in 1931 fits into the school she would have attended.

I agree with your process. Thank you for being very thorough in your explanation. As you suggest, she would have been 10 years old in 1941, the right age to attend school #7b. I agree that we often see Laja and Lea used interchangeably--don't forget to look for both spellings in the next stages.

User Comments:
Cyrla, Ita, and Pesa Cegla all share the same address, Alexanderhof 35 27 with Laja and are the appropriate ages to potentially be her siblings. I would like to note that Cyrla was moved on March 14, 1942 and Pesa was moved on February 15, 1942. In the notes in Pesa's record it states her transport number is 'XXX,' which I am not too sure about. It could mean '30' but it could also mean that there is no real number listed. In the secondary resources, I found that there were deportations to Chelmno every day in March, would make sense for Cyrla, however, there are no known deportations on the date Pesa was moved. I also found Pinkus Cegla who would have been the appropriate age to have been the father of these children. He also lived with them at Alexanderhof 35 27.

I agree these are her family members, and that it is difficult to tell where Pesa went, given that there is no known deportation on February 15, 1942. Have you found any more information on Laja?
