I found Chil Szaja Wajntraub living at the same first two addresses as Israel; Chil died in April of 1942.  His birthdate (October 27 1895) seems right for being Israel's father.  I found the matching addresses in the Lodz Ghetto List in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database.
