User Comments:
In this stage I was able to discover more about Jechezkel’s family. Through the Lodz Ghetto Database on the USHMM website, I was able to find who I think are his father and two brothers. I could not find a woman who matched who I think could be his mother. I know Jechezkel changed addresses however; it does not give a date so I decided to look at information on which I thought were his sibling’s pages. I first looked to Izak Finkel, noting that A.G. 4.3.44 was in his notes, thus indicating that he could have possibly been deported to a camp. In looking at the deportation records under secondary sources, it states that there was indeed a deportation that day from Lodz to Czestochowa with mostly men. However, this is Izak Finkel, Jechezkel’s brother, and we cannot say definitively that they were on the same transport out of Lodz or even if Jechezkel or other members of his family survived the ghetto.

I agree you've found his family members. Thank you for your caution in not assuming Jechezkel and Izak were deported at the same time--I hope we can find out what happened to Jechezkel, though.
