In researching through the Lodz-Names: A Record of the 240,000 INhabitants of the Lodz Ghetto, I found two young women who could fit the missing student profile of M. Torin. The first person Malka Turyn was born in 1922, and while she would be at the older age expected for students, she still fits in the margin. The hesitancy with claiming Malka as the missing identity is that her occupation is listed as strumpfarbeiter rather than schuelerin, which is the 'student' occupation tht is indeed listed for the second possibility which is Marin Turyn. Marin seems to be listed twice in the identification system 'Lodz-Names' also listed as Marian, but the birthdate also fits within the prescribed window for students at school #23 as she was born in 1930.
