Im researching Celinka Ofman. i searched her name in the database by spelling her last name a different way ( Offman ) and then her first initial (C) i got 5 results, and the only one that was plausible was one named Cypa Offman. shes born within the right time frame and i think that shes the student who signed the book.

I agree this is the only possible C Ofman/Offman in the database, but I'm still not sure how we get to Celinka from Cypa. Keep your eyes open in the next stages for other similar names to see if we can find more clues.

im still researching Celinka Ofman ( Cypa Offman) and on her information there was a ghetto code AUSG 25.1.42, and that meant she got deported to Chelmno on january 25, 1942. then i went to secondary sources and found that transport. she died in the gas vans in january.

I agree that if Cypa Offman was deported on January 25, 1942, according to the secondardy sources she was almost certainly deported to Chelmno. You can list Chelmno as the destination of deportation and place of death (citing the secondary sources for both). I have to mark this possible until we're more certain that Cypa was Celinka, but thank you for helping to complete her record.
