Perla certainly seems the most likely match from the names listed in the Lodz Ghetto Database. Something in my gut makes me hesitate on listing this as anything more concrete than "possible," however. She would have been 21 years old in September 1941, which is pretty old for a gymnasium student. Also, there is a student listed in the database named Gita Pesa Lewkowicz (maiden name Kalman) who was born in 1924. It is possible that she was not yet married while in school, and that she might have gone by her middle name rather than her first.
