It is possible that Joachim Adler is the "J. Adler" who signed the album. He was born in 1927 and is listed as a schueler (ie, student) in the Lodz Ghetto Database. However, the database also lists a boy named Josef Justin Adler and a boy named Jacob (Jakub, Jakow). Both of these boys are less likely candidates since Josef Justin was born in December 1927 and Jacob was born in 1928, making both of them a little young for gymnasium. Still, until further evidence arises, I feel compelled to list Joachim Zanwel as "possible" rather than "confirmed."
