User Comments:
We found a entry for Abram Gnielslaw but the name in the entry was Abram Icchok Genislaw. We believe that it is likely that the "n" and the "e" were possibly switched by the person who was typing the name. There was so much information being inputted by the person typing that it is highly likely that there was a typo. We believe that this was probably just a typo and that the two people are in fact the same people. The rest of the research is based of our findings for Abram Icchok Genislaw.

I agree as well. You'll also find him listed as Abram Icchok Gendslaw?--someone must have had tough handwriting to read. Please add the information you find in that record here as well.

User Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the labor cards and the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants Database in terms of birthdays for Abram Genislaw. In the labor cards it lists his birthdate as being 19-12-1933 and in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants Database it lists his birthdate as 29-12-1933.

On the labor cards it says that he has been working since 27-04-1943, and the date of labor registration for this labor card is circa 10-02-1944.

He worked in the electrical engineering department (elekrotechnische arbeitlung).

As far as we know Abram Genislaw was not transported as of 10-02-1944.

Great work. Thanks for adding all the information from the labor card. The dates are probably just a minor discrepancy: 29 and 19 are very similar to one another. Thank you for noting both.
