Upon researching M. Lipkind we came across a boy by the name of Miron Lipkind who was born in 1933, which fits the requirement for M. Lipkind's school that the boys needed to have been born between 1928 and 1933 therefore we have assumed that the M. does in fact stand for Miron.
When we searched Miron Lipkind in the Prisoner List from Forced Labor Camps we found that there was nobody documented under this name. We can assume from this that he did not survive past the ghetto.

I agree you have found the person who signed this name in the album, but would caution you against making sweeping assumptions about what happened to him. Just because he does not show up in one names list does not mean that he did not survive--it is possible he was sent to another camp, or survived the war in the ghetto, or that we just don't have enough information to know yet. Can you find any other information about him in any of the other records linked on this site?
