This is contingent on the variations of the name Jehuda, which I know means Judah but could possibly be other variations of J* names. However after searching Ickowicz (exact) and J* (fuzzy) several versions of Jozef came up one of which was born in 1927 putting the individual within the date range. After searching for Jozef Ickowicz this came up: http://www.jewishgen.org/Yizkor/Novogrudok/nov377.html#I which talks about the movement of children from the Lubch (possible mispelling of Lodz) to the Novogrudok ghetto in which they were shot in May/June 1942. This is obviously a stretch but it might be on the right track.
