Went to the Auschwitz-Birkenau site http://auschwitz.org/en/ and searched the Auschwitz prisoners database. I did find two M. Nagiel results, one named Mendel B. Nagiel, who was born on March 7 1925, and one simply named Mendel Nagiel who was born on March 1 1925. However, both of these prisoners were obviously Dutch Jews, because they went through Westerbork. There was a Dawid Nagiel who was from Lodz, but he was born on May 17, 1908.
