There was also a student named Jakob Urbach born 2 May 1924, living in the Lodz ghetto. While there is little indication that he was the same person as Jakub Jerzy Orbach, it is worth noting that he, too, would have likely wound up in Buchenwald (or a subcamp like Mittelbau-Dora or Nordhausen) since his deportation date from the ghetto -- recorded as 10 March 1944 -- indicates he was probably sent to one of the HASAG camps in Czestochowa, and assuming he survived the camp, would have likely been evacuated to Gross Rosen or Buchenwald.  Unlike, Jakub Jerzy, however, Jakob's street addresses are listed as Baluter Ring 10 32 and Halbe 6.  Compounding this situation is the fact that the HASAG Pelcery records (as well as the Buchenwald Camp Memorial records) list a Jakob Orbach, allegedly from Czestochowa, born May 24 or May 12, 1925, who is evacuated from Czestochowa to Buchenwald or Mittelbau-Dora on January 18, 1945.  Is this the same boy as the Jerzy Orbach (b. 1924) who is recorded in the Sharit HaPletah records as being liberated at Nordhausen?  Or did they both just wind up in the same place?
