I was checking out additional databases to see if I could find Moniek Fuks, and I found something interesting. There was a guy named Moniek Fuks who winds up as a forced laborer at the HASAG-Pelcery camp in Czestochowa. However, his birth date was recorded as February 8, 1932 (ie, not February 15, 1930), and his place of birth (and place during the war) is recorded as Kozienice and his place of origin was Skarzysko-Kamienna. However, a Web search of "Skarzysko-Kam 'lodz ghetto'" shows that it was not unusual for Jews to be deported from the Lodz ghetto to the HASAG camp at Skarzysko-Kamienna and then from there to HASAG Pelcery at Czestochowa. From there, if a prisoner survived, he or she was usually deported to Buchenwald, Gross-Rosen or Ravensbrueck. So, perhaps it is possible that this is the same Moniek???
